Must:
We are seeking candidates who meet the following educational and experience criteria: - PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field with 1+ years of experience, - or M.Sc. in Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field with 3+ years of experience, - or B.Sc. in Data Science, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field with 5+ years of experience. In addition, the ideal candidate will possess: - Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python, Scala, Java, C#, C/C++, Kotlin). - A deep understanding of data structures, algorithm design, and computational complexity. - Familiarity with database theory and experience with at least one relational DBMS like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. - Expertise in descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, and statistical significance. - Strong background in probability distributions, sampling techniques, and confidence intervals. - Experience in statistical modeling, regression analysis, and variance analysis. - Skills in exploratory data analysis (EDA) and data cleaning techniques. - Knowledge in data manipulation including indexing, slicing, transposing, and reshaping data. - Experience with various machine learning techniques including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning. - Understanding of artificial neural networks, deep learning concepts, and AI-driven analytics. - Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure Analytics.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing advanced predictive analytics tools that provide actionable insights using historical and real-time data. The key responsibilities include: - Identifying areas where predictive models can be improved and proposing novel approaches to drive strategic improvements in analytics capabilities. - Investigating complex problems using structured problem-solving techniques and developing data-driven solutions. - Designing, developing, and validating machine learning and statistical models to optimize performance across mining operations. - Collaborating cross-functionally to integrate predictive analytics into real-time applications and sharing best practices for model development and deployment. - Writing scalable, high-quality code, implementing machine learning algorithms, and ensuring seamless integration into operational workflows. - Effectively communicating findings, model performance, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Staying updated with the latest advancements in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data technologies to drive innovation.
