Requirements
Must:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Technology with a focus on Networking or IT Systems Management and Security preferred
- Proven ability to effectively triage, diagnose, and resolve computer system issues both remotely and on-site
- Proficient troubleshooting skills for network, software, and hardware challenges
- Experience with Microsoft Servers, Active Directory, LAPS, and Group Policies
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft SQL administration is a plus
- Experience with firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and VPN configurations is advantageous
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive end-user support while managing both software and hardware across various locations
- Safeguard the organizations information systems by maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability of technology resources
- Oversee, maintain, and enhance endpoint protection platforms, including antivirus, antispam, and antispyware solutions
- Actively monitor security threats and incidents, analyzing and responding promptly
- Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot all IT hardware and software components
- Maintain accurate inventories of software and hardware, including environments of Microsoft 365
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement best security practices and enforce compliance with security policies
- Apply necessary patches and updates to ensure optimal performance
