Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Backend or Middleware Engineer in a senior-level role.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience implementing and securing APIs with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Strong understanding and practical application of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC).
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with Bedrock for managing backend data warehousing and storage needs (preferred).
- Familiarity with Nutanix infrastructure and platform solutions (preferred).
- Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines in either GitHub Actions or GitLab CI (preferred).
- Proficiency in containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (preferred).
- An existing US Treasury Public Trust or equivalent Federal security clearance (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy comprehensive RESTful APIs leveraging Java and the Spring Boot framework.
- Implement and uphold security measures for API endpoints utilizing OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocols.
- Enforce authorization protocols based on Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) methodologies.
- Contribute to the creation of secure edge computing and cloud-native solutions that adhere to strict compliance and security standards.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant mobile solutions aimed at enhancing workflows and operational efficiency.
- Engage in code reviews to ensure adherence to high-quality standards.
