Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma and/or technical degree/certification
- At least four (4) years of experience in an IT-related role
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills
- Capability to manage multiple priorities to meet response timelines
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
- Proven expertise and extensive knowledge of computer systems (desktops/laptops), printers, mobile devices, and other technical solutions
- Proficient in Anti-Virus solutions, Exchange, LAN environments, and Active Directory
- Well-versed in Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365
Responsibilities
- Convert and install new hardware and software as needed
- Recommend enhancements to existing computer systems
- Install and configure various components of computer systems, including CPUs, memory, motherboards, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot hardware (computers, printers, etc.) and software issues
- Assist users in resolving computer-related challenges, including malfunctioning hardware or software
- Provide training for employees on new software and hardware
- Maintain detailed technical journals or manuals and attend vendor seminars on new technologies
- Oversee computer hardware and software inventory and collaborate with finance on asset management tracking
- Coordinate cable installations, new hubs/switches, and additional workstation setups
- Help add, modify, and remove users from the network operating system
- Provide support for phone systems and assist with configuring IP Phone Services and Corporate Directory
- Offer network support and manage wireless environments for the companys network
- Assist with setting up Wi-Fi on laptops, RF guns, and desktops
- Support VPN users and facilitate the setup and configuration of VPN on laptops and user accounts
