Requirements
Must:
- Degree or certification in Computer Science or a related area (or equivalent experience)
- 4-6 years of experience in a professional services setting; prior experience in a law firm is preferred
- Strong proficiency in desktop environments, Microsoft operating systems, Exchange and Exchange Online, networking fundamentals, and device troubleshooting across PC and iOS platforms
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Citrix, ServiceNow (or similar ticketing systems), and mobile device management solutions like Microsoft Intune
- Proven problem-solving abilities to analyze issues, conduct research, and utilize structured troubleshooting methods in demanding situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on providing a high-quality user experience
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, manage numerous priorities, and adjust to changing technology requirements
- Preferred certifications include A+ and/or Microsoft certifications; experience with audio-visual systems is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive daily support for laptops, desktops, and mobile devices, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software
- Diagnose and address technical issues using organized troubleshooting approaches, resolving independently when feasible and escalating as needed to ensure prompt resolutions
- Offer swift, professional, and courteous support in all user interactions, maintaining a high standard of client service
- Support Microsoft 365 (M365), Windows 11, essential business applications, and remote computing tools, including Citrix and Virtual Private Network (VPN) environments
- Collaborate with firmwide technology teams to address complex issues and contribute to shared documentation and solutions
- Set up and troubleshoot audio-visual (AV) equipment, including video conferencing tools like Zoom, Webex, and Microsoft Teams for various meetings and events
- Document and manage all requests accurately through the ticketing system, adhering to established workflows and ownership guidelines
- Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting solutions, following established protocols, and enhancing processes for successful technology rollouts
- Assist with off-site meetings, remote trial setups, and after-hours support as necessary
