Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field, or equivalent professional experience - 5-7 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, with a minimum of 3 years supporting large-scale Windows and virtualization environments - Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, Nutanix Acropolis, and Hyper-V virtual environments - Proficiency in administering Windows Server (2016-2025) and various Linux distributions such as RHEL and Ubuntu - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including IaaS, Entra AD Connect, RBAC roles, Azure Site Recovery, and Backup (familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a bonus) - Skills in managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Certificate Services - Experience utilizing monitoring and configuration tools like SCOM, Zabbix, SCCM, and Ansible Tower - Strong understanding of vulnerability remediation, patch management, and compliance protocols; advanced skills in PowerShell scripting - Excellent communication skills, able to engage with technical and non-technical audiences; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to remain composed under pressure and collaborate effectively within a global team.

Responsibilities

- Provide advanced administration and Level 2 support for global Windows and Linux systems; manage hypervisors including VMware vSphere, Nutanix Acropolis, and Hyper-V - Administer and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and Certificate Services to ensure secure and reliable identity management - Monitor system performance and resolve alerts using tools such as SCOM, Zabbix, SCCM, and Ansible Tower; automate configuration and deployment processes - Engineer, operate, and optimize Microsoft Azure environments, supporting Virtual Machines, Entra AD Connect, RBAC roles, DNS, and Azure Backup and Site Recovery; contribute to Landing Zone design and scalability - Collaborate with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities, apply patches, and implement configuration updates to adhere to compliance standards - Participate in project delivery by assisting with provisioning, migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery planning; work alongside internal teams and vendors to execute solutions focused on efficiency and stability - Maintain accurate operational procedures, system documentation, and reports to ensure continuity and transparency for stakeholders.
