Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Over 7 years of experience configuring and supporting HR technology solutions, including Learning Management Systems, recruiting, performance management, and talent platforms
- Demonstrated success in leading HR technology implementations or significant enhancements with cross-functional teams
- In-depth knowledge of HR and talent workflows, preferably in a law firm or professional services context
- Proficient in programming or scripting languages such as Java, .NET, or Python, alongside strong SQL and data analysis abilities
- Hands-on experience with SaaS platforms, APIs, and Single Sign-On technologies (e.g., SAML, OAuth)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues proactively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across technical and business teams
- Highly organized and self-driven, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
Responsibilities
- Lead the complete lifecycle of the firms HR technology systems, from initial requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch support
- Provide Level 3 support for HR applications, diagnosing complex issues and delivering effective, sustainable solutions
- Act as the primary technical and functional lead for Legal HR systems, advising on capabilities, best practices, and future planning
- Convert business requirements into intuitive, high-quality system configurations aligned with organizational objectives
- Collaborate across HR, Technology, Security, and vendors to ensure systems adhere to all security, privacy, and governance regulations
- Create and maintain integrations using APIs to guarantee precise, reliable, and secure data transmission
- Partner with vendors and developers to enhance solutions in line with internal technology and risk management standards
- Work with stakeholders to create analytics and reports that foster insights and informed decision-making
- Develop and maintain system documentation, standards, and support procedures to promote consistency and scalability
