Engineer - Software Development

- High School diploma or equivalent is necessary, along with experience in a hotel or related field - A minimum of three years of progressive experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred - Completion of trade school and/or college coursework related to the field is advantageous - Prior supervisory experience is essential - Flexibility for extended hours may be required - Ability to exert over 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly to lift or move objects - Maintain a friendly and welcoming demeanor consistently - Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and guests in a courteous and service-oriented manner - Proficiency in listening, understanding, and addressing concerns from employees and guests - Skill in multitasking and prioritizing departmental duties to meet timelines - Approach all interactions with guests and staff with attentiveness, courtesy, and service orientation - Attend all mandated hotel meetings and training sessions - Maintain consistent attendance in line with Highgate Hotel standards, adjusting according to hotel needs - Uphold high standards of personal grooming and appearance, including appropriate uniform and nametag - Comply with Highgate Hotels policies and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations - Focus on productivity, identify problem areas, and assist in implementing solutions - Ability to effectively handle issues, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving problems - Competence in understanding and applying complex information and data from various sources to achieve objectives - Flexibility to train in other hotel-related areas as needed - Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information - Initiative in anticipating guest and operational needs - Perform additional tasks as requested by management
