Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Equivalent hands-on experience demonstrating the same skill level
- Solid comprehension of PC/workstation architecture
- Practical experience in troubleshooting Windows systems (Linux knowledge is advantageous)
- Background in supporting or debugging enterprise-class hardware and software environments
- Capability to troubleshoot both outdated and modern platforms
- Proven ability to apply technical knowledge in real-world, production support scenarios
- Familiarity with enterprise IT or manageability tools is highly regarded
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a customer-facing, escalation-driven setting
- Analytical, methodical problem solver who relies on logic and evidence rather than trial and error
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, quality teams, and external partners
- Eagerness to learn, advance, and take ownership of intricate issues
Responsibilities
- Provide third-level (3LS) technical support for workstations, addressing complex escalations beyond standard support teams
- Conduct thorough technical investigations and root cause analysis across hardware, firmware, operating systems, and system interactions
- Employ logical, structured troubleshooting methods to isolate failures and confirm solutions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and support teams to drive resolutions
- Assist in customer-facing investigations, clearly communicating findings, risks, and recommendations
- Accurately document findings, test results, and conclusions for internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in team knowledge sharing and enhance the overall 3LS capability
