Requirements
Must:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience; Bachelors degree is preferred
- Epic Willow Inpatient certification is mandatory
- Over 2 years of experience in business systems analysis or collaborating between business and IT
- Strong comprehension of pharmacy operations and medication workflows
- Capability to simplify technical concepts for business users
- Experience with supporting EHR systems in a healthcare context
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing multiple projects in a cross-functional setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong skills in both written and verbal communication
Responsibilities
- Configure, develop, and provide support for Epic Willow Inpatient pharmacy functionalities
- Design and uphold medication records, order sets, and pharmacy workflows
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff and IT teams to ensure safe and effective medication management
- Act as a liaison among business users, IT, and vendors to convert requirements into viable system solutions
- Evaluate business processes and identify areas for improvement using Epic functionality
- Assist in system enhancements, testing, resolving issues, and continuous optimization
- Create and manage documentation, build specifications, and training resources
- Ensure solutions are consistent with organizational standards, workflows, and project objectives
