Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in HCI, Psychology, Sociology, Data Science, Human Factors, or a related field
- Over 3 years of experience in user research and/or data analysis, preferably within enterprise or internal tool environments
- Proficiency with Jira or similar tools for requirement management, issue tracking, and collaboration with development teams
- Experience in creating personas, journey/workflow maps, insight summaries, usability reports, and similar outputs
- Familiarity with AI tools and an openness to experiment with innovative research methods
- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Competence in using Figma for research handoff, prototyping collaboration, and design feedback
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work autonomously in a dynamic environment
- Skill in communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement focused research plans that align with project objectives and enterprise application workflows
- Conduct mixed-method research, including stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, contextual/field studies, surveys, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing, to ascertain user needs and system challenges
- Analyze current tool capabilities, usage patterns, and limitations to uncover opportunities for UI and workflow enhancements
- Examine qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that guide product and design choices
- Convert complex datasets into clear narratives and evidence-based recommendations
- Summarize research findings into well-organized deliverables such as personas, workflow maps, journey maps, insight summaries, problem statements, opportunity frameworks, and usability reports
