Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in interaction design, UI design, and UX research or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in leading or mentoring design teams and driving strategic UX projects across various product features
- Proficient in Figma with experience in using and contributing to a centralized design system
- Strong visual design, interaction design, and information architecture expertise, with a portfolio highlighting complex, launched digital products and strategic thinking
- Comprehensive knowledge of UI and web patterns along with experience in implementing and managing a design system
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and teamwork skills, capable of influencing cross-functional groups, including Product Managers, Stakeholders, and Engineering teams
- Experience leading user research initiatives and using data to drive and validate strategic choices
- Proven ability to communicate and prototype interactions rapidly at various fidelity levels
Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with Product and Business Leads to establish a long-term UX strategy for core products, ensuring that design initiatives create measurable business results
- Lead the UX domain by providing mentorship and constructive feedback to fellow designers, enhancing the quality and consistency of the teams work
- Advocate for the adoption and advancement of the design system, ensuring a consistent and unified experience across all user interactions
- Develop concepts from ideation to implementation with a strong emphasis on product focus and data-driven decision making
- Engage in experimentation and iteration of ideas, utilizing web patterns and design frameworks to effectively address complex challenges
- Welcome constructive criticism and feedback, effectively defending design decisions aimed at benefiting the product and users, acting as the users advocate
- Validate product designs with customer input, employing both qualitative and quantitative data to shape strategic direction
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and finalized designs that uphold high standards for detail, accessibility, and user-centered design principles
