Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java v8+ and Spring Boot; preference for those with over 5 years (team utilizes Java v17)
- Experience in Cloud environments, preferably with AWS (team employs AWS ECS/Docker and EKS/Kubernetes)
- Proficient in UI development using React (team uses React v17) or Angular
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB
- Knowledge of SQL is beneficial
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
- Background in system design and common patterns is essential for senior roles
- AWS certification and experience in the Risk Domain are advantages
Responsibilities
- Develops and troubleshoots standard software solutions and technical issues
- Produces secure and high-quality code in at least one programming language with minimal supervision
- Designs and implements systems while considering upstream and downstream technical impacts
- Utilizes tools from the Software Development Life Cycle to enhance automation and efficiency
- Analyzes diverse and extensive data sets to identify problems and facilitate decision-making
- Acquires and applies system methodologies and processes for creating stable and secure code
- Contributes positively to a team culture emphasizing diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
