Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Finance Management, or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with common Telecom Expense Management Solutions
- In-depth knowledge of telecommunications, including voice, data, and networking terminology
- Comprehensive understanding of billing processes and financial recognition of telecommunications costs, along with experience in resolving vendor billing disputes
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships with telecommunications vendors and internal teams
- Detail-oriented with the capability to suggest actionable improvements in a dynamic environment
- Ability to analyze telecommunications expenses and recommend cost-efficiency measures
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our Network and Telecom team to implement new services, modifications, and discontinuations with telecom vendors
- Ensure accurate recognition of telecommunication billing (including voice, fax, and data services) using our Telecom Expense Management Solution for proper financial reporting, working closely with Accounts Payable and possibly investigating bills with stakeholders or vendors
- Oversee data management related to our Network and Telecom inventory in the Telecom Expense Management Solution
- Generate monthly reports detailing telecommunication services across the organization to analyze costs per agency and provide insights for identifying potential cost-saving measures
- Identify and recommend enhancements to the Telecom Billing process and overall expense management systems
- Partner with our IT Support Services team to execute process and tool improvements
