Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree; certification from a recognized watchmaking institution
- Over 3 years of pertinent experience
- Proficiency in adult learning principles
- Experience in curriculum design
- Skills in assessment methodologies
- Knowledge of micromechanics
- Coaching abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Relevant computer expertise
- Understanding of OSHA regulations
- Knowledge of Tudor movements and their product lines
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
- Interviewing experience
- Background in watch repair and manufacturing
- Awareness of watchmaking industry history
- Ability to exercise discretion
Responsibilities
- Ensure students in training acquire the essential content, skills, and context for success in the program
- Present lessons that are clear and aligned with the ASSW curriculum
- Maintain the integrity of the curriculum and training offerings
- Foster student participation and engagement in learning
- Effectively document and communicate learners progress
- Create a safe, respectful learning environment in the Watchmaking Training programs
- Utilize relevant content, tools, and teaching methods for technical training development and delivery
- Support students learning needs in the Watchmaking Training program
- Organize lessons to follow a logical progression
- Adapt curriculum and lesson plans to cater to individual learning requirements and goals
