Requirements
Must:
- 5-8 years of experience in technical project management, platform engineering, software architecture, software development, or related technical leadership roles
- Proficiency in platform engineering environments, particularly in developing SaaS or cloud-native solutions
- Deep understanding of modern tooling and patterns in platform engineering, including CI/CD, infrastructure provisioning, observability, security tools, and cloud services
- Proven ability to produce technical documentation, decision records, architecture summaries, and governance materials
- Excellent facilitation skills—capable of steering groups toward consensus, resolving conflicts, and aiding decision-making
- Strong technical proficiency to effectively communicate with engineers, architects, and senior leadership
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with Architectural Decision Records (ADRs), RFC processes, or technical governance frameworks is preferred
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform architecture patterns and tool ecosystems is a plus
- Experience in standardizing tooling or technical practices across extensive engineering organizations is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Architectural Governance & Tooling Standards across engineering teams
- Guide an enterprise-wide architectural governance group to harmonize tooling and technology choices
- Present intricate technical concepts to varied audiences within engineering, security, architecture, and product leadership
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, DevOps, SRE, security teams, and stakeholders to align decisions with practical needs
- Partner with leadership to promote adherence to approved standards and tooling throughout the organization
- Support initiation and operation of domain-specific working groups as required
- Create and maintain precise, high-quality technical and architectural documentation, encompassing: Architectural Decision Records (ADRs), technical standards, governance policies, tooling evaluation summaries, architecture diagrams, and Git-based documentation workflows
