Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
- Over 5 years of experience in product management
- Significant expertise in digital product development within an Agile framework
- Extensive background in product/program development, execution, and strategic analysis in a matrixed environment
- Strong capability to comprehend, discuss, and evaluate architectural concepts with technical colleagues
- Proven track record as a technical product manager, product owner, or solutions architect
- Experience as a software engineer, data engineer, or SDET
- Ability to assess technical issues to prioritize new product features and manage technical debt
- In-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape and operations in financial services or related consumer industries
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint being advantageous
- Strong analytical skills in financial and competitive domains
- Excellent ability to communicate complex ideas and technical information effectively to diverse audiences, including executives and technical staff
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to create innovative experiences for our learners
- Determine which products to develop, ensure their execution, and analyze user feedback on these products
- Partner with engineering and design teams to strategically oversee product planning and development
- Engage with external partners to explore collaborations and licensing suggestions, and lead beta and pilot programs for emerging products
- Work alongside engineering and key stakeholders to deliver scalable, adaptable software solutions that fulfill business requirements
- Coordinate with product managers from different business lines to outline your teams roadmap and product feature delivery
- Convert business needs, user requirements, and technological capabilities into user stories and product specifications that facilitate successful launches
- Create detailed acceptance criteria for developers and quality assurance teams to ensure task completion
- Advocate Agile principles and methodologies, managing team backlogs and defining priorities for epics, features, user stories, and other development resources
- Establish objective requirements along with success metrics
