Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in managing and supporting AspenTech IP.21 or similar historian platforms
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing process data
- Proven background in manufacturing settings, especially in batch processing operations
- Understanding of batch standards (e.g., ISA-88) and process control principles
- Familiarity with MES, ERP, analytics tools, and industrial control systems (DCS/PLC)
- Experience with IT service management or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain process historian systems to ensure data integrity, availability, and performance
- Create and optimize SQL queries/scripts for reporting, analysis, and troubleshooting
- Assist manufacturing operations by diagnosing data, batch processing, and system integration issues
- Oversee and manage data transfers between historians, control systems, and downstream platforms
- Address technical support inquiries through a ticketing system, ensuring prompt communication and resolution
- Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and IT teams to enhance production and foster continuous improvement
- Record system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting methods
- Engage in system upgrades, patches, and performance enhancement initiatives
