Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data, Database Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be acceptable
- Over 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
- Proficiency in database design, data modeling, and data mining techniques
- Practical experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, or similar software
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data integration, or scripting (e.g., XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
- Strong command of SQL, data querying, and report generation
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or comparable tools)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to effectively present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Analyze extensive and intricate datasets utilizing statistical and analytical methodologies to uncover trends, discrepancies, and actionable insights
- Design, develop, and sustain databases, data models, and data collection systems to facilitate reporting and analytical requirements
- Create and deliver dashboards, standard reports, and on-demand analyses to aid cyber security operations and leadership decision-making
- Support a cyber security analytics platform that allows for rapid detections, advanced correlation, investigation workflows, and historical threat analyses
- Gather data from primary and secondary sources, ensuring it is accurate, complete, and consistent
- Clean, validate, and reconcile data by examining reports, system outputs, and performance indicators to address data quality issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and informational needs and assist in prioritizing analytical projects
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards, regulatory requirements, and established procedural guidelines
- Identify areas for enhancing data processes, improving reporting efficiency, and boosting overall analytical performance
