Requirements
Must:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Over 5 years of experience in systems analysis; experience in financial services applications is advantageous
- Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities
- Quick learner able to navigate ambiguous situations
- Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Skilled in triaging system defects in various environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, organized, highly responsive, and dedicated to quality
- Ability to collaboratively engage with diverse individuals and teams
- Confidence in communicating technical concepts and requirements to team members, product owners, and other stakeholders
- Capable of producing documentation such as product guides, business process diagrams, and system workflows
- Experienced in persuading team members and external parties
- Committed to guiding standard methodologies and providing mentorship to junior Systems Analysts
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodology is a plus
- Ability to conduct technical analysis of complex web application development concepts
- Experience with database query tools and strong SQL proficiency
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Understanding of QA automation concepts
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Squad Lead, Scrum Master, Developers, Quality Assurance, and Architects as part of a Scrum team
- Engage in crafting, building, testing, and delivering scalable and maintainable solutions
- Utilize a long-term approach to uncover and articulate hidden or unidentified use cases and requirements
- Contribute to an environment of continuous improvement and agile processes
- Facilitate discussions to ensure clarity on system capabilities and needs
- Support the development of documentation and process workflows
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Systems Analysts
- Address system defects efficiently across all environments
