Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience as a Windows Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and security standards
- Expertise in SQL Server replication
- Familiarity with ITIL-based workflows and ticketing systems
- Excellent problem-solving aptitude and communication abilities
- Proficient in conveying information to both technical and non-technical teams
- Cooperative, positive, and respectful team participant
- Able to work independently and manage time and responsibilities with minimal oversight
- Recognizes organizational dynamics and effectively operates within them
Responsibilities
- Oversee a variety of systems including databases, servers, backups, disaster recovery, and mission-critical devices; networking, monitoring, and alert applications experience is essential for ensuring system reliability and uptime
- Administer and maintain enterprise systems, managing user account provisioning and lifecycle processes
- Secure and manage AWS tenants, ensuring adherence to cybersecurity policies
- Provide technical assistance for expired accounts, replication challenges, and operational disruptions
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, operations, and managed services teams to facilitate system enhancements and standard changes
- Document system configurations, modifications, and troubleshooting processes
- Carry out routine operations and maintenance checks to verify server, system, and network health
- Regularly apply server patches and system updates
- Address system and network vulnerabilities
- Monitor systems and set up alerts to sustain uptime
- Administer backup and disaster recovery processes using Rubrik
- Execute regular SQL backups and restorations, ensuring compliance with data retention guidelines

In this role, you will engage with both Windows and some Linux systems, working closely with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
