Requirements
Must:
- In-depth knowledge of accessibility assessments, specifically WCAG 2.1/2.2 (AA minimum)
- Proven experience in conducting manual testing, including keyboard navigation, screen reader testing, color contrast evaluation, and ARIA validation
- Relevant accessibility certification such as IAAP CPACC, WAS, or an equivalent credential
- Experience with automated scanning tools, like Accessibility Insights
- Ability to troubleshoot false positives, configuration anomalies, and scan failures
- Proficient communication and organizational abilities
- Experience in managing assessment workflows independently
- Capability to articulate accessibility challenges to developers in a clear, actionable manner
- Ability to coordinate scan scheduling, reporting, and tracking of remediation efforts across various teams
Responsibilities
- Perform manual accessibility evaluations of websites and digital interfaces based on WCAG standards
- Carry out and troubleshoot automated accessibility scans using established enterprise tools
- Manage and oversee the inventory of accessibility scanning tools and their configurations
- Offer guidance and support to engineering teams for addressing accessibility issues
- Ensure the accuracy, actionability, and compliance alignment of scan results
- Track results of assessments and assist in the maintenance of reporting dashboards and documentation
