Splunk Engineer

- Proven experience in creating dashboards and reports using Splunk, preferably within a SOC or cybersecurity setting - In-depth knowledge of Splunks application for security analytics, threat identification, and incident handling - Familiarity with security-related data sources, including authentication logs, endpoint telemetry, network logs, and application security logs - Capacity to convert unstructured security information into clear and actionable visual insights - Experience collaborating with incident response teams, detection engineers, or SOC analysts - Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and operational precision - (Preferred) Previous involvement with an Incident Response, Detection Engineering, or SOC team - (Preferred) Understanding of Splunk Enterprise Security concepts, notable events, correlation searches, and SOC key performance indicators (KPIs) - (Preferred) Demonstrated experience in developing dashboards for SOC performance evaluation or leadership reporting - (Preferred) Knowledge of prevalent cyber threat types and investigative procedures
