Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on front-end technologies
- Extensive experience as a React Engineer with a track record of architecting and creating enterprise-level React applications from the ground up
- Proven skills in defining front-end architecture, establishing engineering standards, and delivering essential modules independently
- Significant hands-on experience building production-quality Single Page Applications (SPAs) using React
- A history of serving as a technical Senior Engineer or lead, having successfully built applications from inception
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight while driving architecture and project delivery
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
- Experience in modernizing or transitioning legacy UI frameworks into contemporary React SPAs is a plus
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the React application architecture, including project structure, component strategy, routing framework, and integration boundaries
- Establish and enforce engineering standards for the UI codebase, focusing on reusable component patterns, coding conventions, linting, and documentation for maintainability and scalability
- Lead front-end decisions emphasizing sustainability and ecosystem robustness
- Develop foundational UI components such as navigation, layout, and shared elements while delivering key product modules from start to finish
- Create UI components with accessibility best practices in mind, as highlighted in internal discussions regarding framework choices and implementation methods

Our client is in the process of modernizing their product user interface, focusing on a complete rewrite and redesign of the legacy front-end with a contemporary React application.
