Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a software developer post-degree
- Proven technical leadership experience in a team lead role or similar capacity
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- Candidates will undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information
- Preferred: Experience with our current technology stack: C#, Angular 2+, SQL Server
Responsibilities
- Direct and guide multiple cross-functional teams of software engineers in an agile development setting for new product creation and maintenance tasks, taking on the role of Scrum Master for one or more Scrum teams
- Oversee several projects concurrently and collaborate with team members to eliminate obstacles
- Partner with product management and project management to advance the Agile methodology, including managing release and sprint cycles to guarantee timely, high-quality deliverables
- Support the Director in enhancing software deployment processes to increase the frequency and quality of releases
- Collaborate with product management and engineering leaders to set priorities and devise technical solutions
- Assess team members performance through goal establishment and evaluations, offering coaching, recognition, and feedback during regular meetings and formal performance reviews
- Spearhead the ongoing enhancement of software development and testing procedures in partnership with peers and architects, encompassing architectural, security, compliance, and code reviews, along with managing the delivery pipeline
