Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field - 3-5 years of software development experience - Strong background in Java programming, particularly for enterprise applications - Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs - Solid grasp of microservices architecture and distributed systems - Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS) - Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) - Knowledge of database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar) - Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines - Understanding of code quality assessment tools like SonarQube - Familiarity with authentication/authorization patterns such as OAuth and JWT - Ability to thrive in fast-paced, agile environments - Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to swiftly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements - Experience in building proof-of-concepts and technical prototypes - Industry experience in utility, energy, or industrial IoT environments is a plus - Knowledge of smart grid technologies, AMI systems, or connected devices is advantageous - Understanding utility industry standards and protocols (DNP3, Modbus, etc.) - Familiarity with time-series data management and analytics platforms is desirable - Hands-on experience with Go (Golang) development is a plus - Experience using AI-powered development tools (like GitHub Copilot) to enhance coding efficiency - Knowledge of event streaming platforms (Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis) - Understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Responsibilities
