Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in software engineering
- Proficient hands-on experience with Linux systems, including user permissions and performance tuning
- Familiarity with AWS services, including Lambda, S3, Glue, Route 53, and IAM, along with Kubernetes
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Datadog and Splunk, and proficiency in SLI/SLO metrics
- Experience with databases and SQL (such as Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, or Dynamo DB)
- Skilled in Data Processing and ETL tools like Control-M and Informatica
- Experience with tools such as GIT, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy, JIRA, Artifactory, and Sonar
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, Bash, or Power Shell
- Past experience with CI/CD pipelines using technologies like Groovy, Jenkins, and Urbancode Deploy is desirable
- Understanding of IT Service Management, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management
- Strong automation capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to execute agile workflows
- Share insights while gaining knowledge from other skilled engineers
- Build relationships and engage in complex projects across multiple teams, business partners, and external vendors
- Represent projects and team initiatives effectively at business venues, user groups, and to organizational leaders
- Actively engage in the development and transition to cloud-based solutions and partake in research initiatives
- Navigate unstructured environments, anticipate changes, and swiftly resolve high-impact incidents
- Utilize creative thinking to identify and create innovative and secure solutions that may deviate from traditional practices
