Senior Technical Project Manager - IT Focus

- Bachelors degree in a technology-related field or equivalent professional experience - PMP certification is a plus - 5 to 8+ years of experience managing large-scale, multi-year enterprise software initiatives - Proven experience in analyzing resource allocation, constraints, and interdependencies among teams - Extensive knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall, covering all phases such as requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support - Experience leading sizable, cross-functional teams of 20 or more members - Proficient in Microsoft Project, with an emphasis on advanced features for intricate technical programs - Strong grasp of project management methodologies and principles such as critical path, risk assessment, theory of constraints, and scope management - Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira for task creation, tracking, and reporting - Excellent communication abilities to influence, inform, and align expectations - Strong stakeholder and client engagement skills, especially with governmental agencies or multi-state collaborations - Ability to function in intricate, politically sensitive, or multi-jurisdictional settings - Skilled in building and managing software metrics that facilitate forecasting and milestone tracking - Capable of thriving in fast-paced, dynamic, and occasionally ambiguous situations - Experience in government projects (federal or state) is highly desirable
