Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Over 10 years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on front-end development
- Strong hands-on experience in creating production single-page applications (SPAs) using Angular and TypeScript
- Experience in modernizing or migrating legacy user interfaces, such as JSP or server-rendered HTML, to contemporary SPA frameworks
- Proven ability to design and develop applications from the ground up, encompassing both architecture and delivery, not just feature enhancements
- Capability to work autonomously, manage tasks efficiently, and communicate effectively across engineering, product, and UX teams
- Technical proficiency with Angular modules and packages
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance Angular UI applications from the ground up, including application architecture, routing, state management patterns, and reusable component design
- Drive the transformation of legacy UI functionality from JSP/HTML to Angular with an emphasis on improving workflows rather than merely recreating user interfaces
- Develop scalable UI components and design patterns to ensure consistency throughout the platform
- Collaborate with backend/API teams to integrate the UI with modern services, enabling a forward-looking platform
- Contribute to migration planning to guarantee a seamless transition and minimal disruption to users during phased rollouts
- Take ownership of deliverables: decompose problems, propose effective solutions, and execute tasks with limited supervision

Our current project involves transitioning from a legacy JSP/HTML front end to a contemporary Angular application, focusing on a comprehensive UI rebuild and workflow enhancement aimed at elevating usability, performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
