Senior Security Engineer

- Design, implement, and enforce security controls within the DRR environment, covering network isolation, IAM/RBAC, PAM, and encryption - Ensure secure configurations and maintain the security posture of DRR systems and backups - Implement and support PAM solutions (CyberArk preferred) for DRR and integrated platforms - Establish and manage privileged access policies, enforcing least privilege and time-bound access controls - Assist in onboarding systems and users into PAM solutions - Take ownership of patching and vulnerability remediation for DRR systems - Collaborate with infrastructure teams to guarantee timely remediation and compliance - Continuously evaluate and enhance system hardening and security posture - Monitor activities in the DRR environment using SIEM/SOAR tools like Splunk - Refine alerts, detection rules, and automated response workflows - Support threat analysis, incident response, and forensic investigations - Act as a security subject matter expert during cybersecurity incidents and recovery exercises - Advise on secure usage of DRR platforms and protected backups during recovery efforts - Work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure restoration processes - Aid in the support and implementation of security technologies, including PAM and endpoint/patching tools - Assist with configuration, integration, and ongoing optimization of security tools - Provide support for the underlying infrastructure (Windows/Linux) within DRR environments
