Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma or GED is mandatory
- Bachelors degree or similar professional experience
- Over 8 years of experience in Java programming
- More than 3 years of experience with Hitachi GMS SCADA in large systems and various field device connections
- At least 3 years of experience in Python programming
- A minimum of 3 years working with Unix/Linux operating systems
- Over 3 years of hands-on experience with agile methodologies and Jira
- PERL programming experience is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Deliver innovative technical and functional solutions to our development teams
- Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, maintain, and enhance current and new systems for reliability and efficiency
- Create or adjust procedures to address complex issues, producing detailed specifications for programming
- Employ suitable development methods, system development lifecycles, tools, and technologies
- Collaborate continuously with the Business Systems Analyst, Scrum Master, and Technology Manager
- Engage in ticket management and resolution processes, ensuring receipt, monitoring resolution, and customer satisfaction
- Lead significant projects as needed
- Offer direction, training, and guidance to fellow team members
- Establish a strong understanding and documentation of the delivered solution
- Carry out additional job-related tasks as assigned
- Operate within the Hitachi GMS SCADA system and mentor team members
