Requirements
Must:
- Extensive hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational reliability
- Proficient in developing Microservices utilizing Java, Spring Boot, and Python
- Demonstrated experience with database programming for enterprise-level Oracle data processing applications, encompassing packages, procedures, triggers, PL/SQL, and Java Stored Procedures
- Familiarity with Restful Web Services and WebSockets/JSON
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, specifically SCRUM or equivalents
- Advanced skills in one or more programming languages
- Strong competence in automation and continuous delivery practices
- Well-versed in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
- In-depth knowledge of agile practices such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
- Proven expertise in software applications and technical workflows within areas like cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile
- Comprehensive understanding of the financial services sector and its IT systems
- Practical experience with cloud-native environments
- Familiarity with AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, REST, Terraform, Spring Boot, JMeter, LoadRunner, and Dynatrace is advantageous but not mandatory
Responsibilities
- Create innovative software solutions along with design, development, and technical problem-solving while employing unconventional approaches to address challenges
- Produce secure and high-quality production code, in addition to reviewing and debugging code from peers
- Seek out and implement opportunities to eliminate or automate recurrent issues, enhancing the overall stability of software applications and systems
- Organize evaluation discussions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical qualifications, and their relevance to existing systems and architecture
- Facilitate communities of practice within Software Engineering to promote awareness and adoption of cutting-edge technologies
- Contribute positively to a team culture that values diversity, opportunity, inclusivity, and mutual respect
