Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in Hogan Applications Development and IT Delivery Projects
- More than 7 years of experience in Hogan Architecture design, implementation, and support
- Expertise in at least two Hogan modules (ILP, IDS, CIS, ODS, FSS, etc.)
- Advanced skills in COBOL, JCL, Easytrieve, and REXX; Assembler knowledge is a plus
- In-depth understanding of financial operations, including deposits, loans, payments, ACH/wire transactions, ATM/debit operations, credit card management, collections, and general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with API integration, batch processing, and VSAM
- Proficient in AI-assisted development tools for coding, reviewing, and automating processes
- Extensive knowledge of financial institution operations related to deposit and loan processing, monetary transactions, and financial accountability
- Proven ability to lead technical teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers
- Strong experience in production support, issue resolution, API integration, and adhering to SDLC best practices
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to design, implement, and support Hogan architecture
- Develop and enhance Hogan core banking applications using COBOL, JCL, Easytrieve, REXX, and additional programming languages
- Lead technical initiatives, overseeing development and testing processes
- Guide and mentor junior developers to enhance their skills and performance
- Address and resolve production issues while maintaining system stability
- Manage API integrations and ensure effective batch processing
- Utilize AI tools to streamline development and improve code quality
- Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices and high standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Hogan and financial technology
