Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience in NodeJS and Angular for developing scalable, high-performance applications
- Strong understanding of contemporary front-end and back-end frameworks (Next.js, Express.js) and their role in a cohesive product experience
- Proficient in data analytics and visualization frameworks/tools capable of handling and presenting large datasets in real-time (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js)
- In-depth knowledge of optimization techniques for both client and server-side applications
- Experience creating RESTful APIs and working with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or similar
- Familiarity with constructing Docker images and managing Kubernetes deployments, services, ingress, config maps, and secrets
- Expertise in secure coding practices, particularly in sensitive data contexts or public safety
- Proven experience working within agile frameworks
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with a user-centric approach
Responsibilities
- Design and create scalable, high-performance applications utilizing NodeJS for backend and Angular for frontend
- Architect solutions emphasizing data analytics, visualizations, and real-time performance metrics relevant for crime prevention and resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring seamless integration of frontend and backend services for an optimal user experience for public safety officials and community users
- Enhance applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security, in adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements
- Develop reusable components and libraries applicable across various applications
- Lead initiatives in code review, testing, and continuous integration for robust and maintainable codebases
