Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience showcasing exceptional capability
- Over 5 years of experience in electrical hardware applications, prototype development, and systems engineering
- More than 5 years of familiarity with Vehicle Network Protocols like CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet
- Strong foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering and practical experience with electrical testing instruments (oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, power supplies, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience utilizing embedded networking interface tools in automotive, aerospace, or related fields
- Knowledge of systems development, vehicle architecture, battery technologies, software/hardware tool development, motor calibration technologies, OBD calibration, functional safety, networking, and diagnostics processes
- Proven experience in creating and carrying out component-level testing procedures and managing all test outcomes
Responsibilities
- Design control and estimation algorithms for body control features such as window operation, closure systems, and lighting
- Spearhead hardware integration for body control systems on benches, bucks, lab cars, and actual vehicles
- Collaborate with software teams to synchronize core functionalities and broadcast specifications
- Implement functional safety principles and contribute to safety assessments
- Develop testing plans and validate the functionality, stability, and performance of firmware
- Propel feature advancement across hardware, software, and architectural teams
- Produce subsystem block diagrams and oversee reviews during various development phases
- Engage in early firmware tasks, including hardware validation, lab car evaluations, and automation setup for unit, SIL, and HIL testing
