Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience as a Lead Oracle Database Administrator (preferably with Oracle 19c) in a live production setting
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for database oversight and management
- Familiarity with Oracle GoldenGate, or a strong desire to develop skills in this area
- Experience with Veridata for data validation and synchronization purposes
- Proficient in writing and troubleshooting shell scripts for process automation
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills
- Capable of working in a round-the-clock support environment with international teams
Responsibilities
- Ensure the continuous availability and optimal performance of all Oracle database systems functioning around the clock
- Oversee and manage database operations using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
- Provide support and maintenance for Oracle 19c environments in collaboration with onshore and offshore teams
- Implement and oversee Oracle GoldenGate for immediate data replication
- Use Veridata to ensure data consistency in replicated environments
- Conduct regular database maintenance, including backups and recovery procedures
- Work collaboratively with infrastructure and application teams to support mission-critical systems
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for effective automation and monitoring tasks
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide shift-based support as required
