Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in data science initiatives
- Extensive knowledge in Statistics, Machine Learning, and data engineering
- Understanding of statistical issues and reliance on data integrity
- Commitment to high code quality standards, utilizing version control systems
- Proficient in statistical programming languages such as R, Python, and MATLAB
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure
- Background in Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of Software Configuration Management
- Understanding of Software Construction principles
- Familiarity with Software Engineering Economics
- Practical problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Passion for leveraging data science to address real-world challenges
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong collaborative spirit and capability to work autonomously
Responsibilities
- Create data-driven solutions to address business challenges
- Develop and maintain high-quality production code, inclusive of testing; our technology stack includes Python, Databricks, GIT, Azure, and SQL
- Deploy models into production on a regular basis, potentially daily
- Collaborate closely with clients and the Product Owner on a daily basis
- Engage in a highly collaborative Agile environment, taking part in Ceremonies and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Document and clarify analysis and modeling outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Continuously learn new engineering practices and technologies, enhancing our Agile methodologies
