Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree, Paralegal certificate, or J.D.
- Five years of experience in contract review and processing with a solid grasp of legal terms and conditions, along with experience dealing with IS vendors and contracts.
- Strong ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills to support internal clients and external vendors.
Responsibilities
- Review, process, and negotiate IS-related contracts; provide redline assessments and recommendations per our IS standards; identify legal and business issues for negotiation.
- Engage directly with vendors and their legal representatives or internal team members until all contract points are finalized, providing coaching, evaluations, and support to internal staff throughout.
- Act as the main contact for all contractual concerns, ensuring prompt review, approval, and execution of all IS-related agreements.
- Oversee the documentation flow through our internal IS and Procurement processes.
- Generate and share status updates with all relevant stakeholders concerning contract reviews, compliance, amendments, etc.
- Safeguard our contractual records and documentation within our IS Contracts Database and IS Contracts tracker to ensure accurate documentation of key communications, document modifications, internal business assessments, and legal endorsements.
