Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience demonstrating outstanding capabilities
- At least 4 years of professional experience (6+ years preferred)
- Proven track record of executing large-scale projects in programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, Rust, or similar
- Strong grasp of backend development principles, encompassing SQL databases, networking, and security practices
- Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and at least one modern framework (e.g., React, Angular, Svelte) for full-stack development
- Expertise in structured software development methodologies, including version control, code evaluations, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a proven ability to manage technical projects from ideation to production
- Familiarity with controls engineering concepts, manufacturing processes, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs); hands-on experience with Ignition and MES systems is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Collaborating within a compact, high-performing team to develop scalable software solutions that bolster advanced manufacturing operations across diverse innovative products
- Designing and building robust backend infrastructure to enhance software functionality
- Contributing to all stages of the development lifecycle from concept through to production
- Employing best practices in software development, ensuring high-quality code and reliable systems
- Engaging in communication with team members to lead technical initiatives
- Overseeing integration with frontend technologies to create seamless user experiences
- Developing documentation and reports on system performance and enhancements
