Requirements
Must:
- Strong expertise in administering and supporting Unix systems
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Apache NiFi in enterprise environments
- Extensive knowledge of NiFi clusters, flows, processors, queues, and configuration management
- Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues and incidents within NiFi
- Experience managing NiFi security measures including certificates and access controls
- In-depth understanding of platform monitoring and incident response processes
- Strong practical experience with AWS Administration in production settings
- Familiarity with AWS services through Terraform for provisioning resources such as EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC
- Experience in maintaining secure and highly scalable cloud environments
- Knowledge of security vulnerability remediation including OS patching and updates
- Proficient with ticketing tools like Jira or similar
- Capability to draft and uphold operational documentation and runbooks
- Comfortable working in high-pressure 24x7 environments and collaborating with diverse teams
- Bonus skills: Experience with Firewalls, databases, Kafka, APIs, and automation scripting
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch and Datadog
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively lead troubleshooting discussions and convey technical matters clearly
Responsibilities
- Oversee Apache NiFi flows, processors, queues, templates, and controller services
- Execute installation, configuration, upgrades, and lifecycle management of NiFi platforms
- Monitor system health, performance metrics, and latencies to ensure optimal functioning
- Manage security within NiFi including access policies and user controls
- Guarantee high availability and data integrity across multiple environments
- Engage in the development of new environments for project requirements
- Maintain clear operational documentation and support procedures including runbooks
