Requirements
Must:
- Extensive practical experience as a Salesforce CPQ Architect or Senior CPQ Subject Matter Expert
- Previous involvement in designing Salesforce CPQ integrations with ERP systems and CPQ solutions for intricate products and pricing structures
- Solid comprehension of Salesforce CPQ product rules, pricing rules, bundles, and advanced configurations
- Capability to assess designs without the necessity of executing builds
- Strongly Preferred:
- Previous experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with SAP
- Familiarity with or exposure to SAP Variant Configurator
- Experience in environments with highly configurable, rules-driven products
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyze proposed Salesforce CPQ solution strategies
- Confirm the feasibility of complicated product configurations, pricing, and rule logic within Salesforce CPQ
- Clearly differentiate the capabilities of Salesforce CPQ from constraints or trade-offs
- Suggest CPQ architectural frameworks that align with Salesforce best practices
- Offer guidance on CPQ integration patterns with SAP, emphasizing experience with Salesforce CPQ/SAP and Salesforce CPQ/SAP Variant Configurator
- Ensure alignment between CPQ design and downstream SAP configuration and pricing logic
- Identify risks, assumptions, and integration considerations at early stages
- Constructively challenge assumptions and designs to prevent future rework
- Provide practical direction to balance business needs with CPQ platform limitations
- Assist the team in arriving at feasible and supportable design choices
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Salesforce CPQ Admin, and SAP configuration specialists
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Facilitate working sessions and design discussions as required
