Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in a technology-oriented discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- Proficiency in PL/SQL with experience in complex queries, views, and packages
- Strong hands-on skills in automation scripting, script execution, and functional testing
- Expertise in Java, Selenium, and Cucumber
- Knowledge of Cloud Computing and DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines utilizing Git and Jenkins
- Experience in testing and automating RESTful web services using Rest Assured, Swagger, and Postman
- Skilled in creating automation test solutions with frameworks and tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, and Karate
- Proven experience in driving projects within an Agile framework
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other technical and business team members
- Eagerness to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and concepts, and apply them to business challenges
- Passionate about modern test-driven and automation-centric software development practices
- Design, develop, maintain, and complete automated tests while adhering to industry-standard methodologies and tools
- Maintain a customer-centric focus in all work
- Commit to continuous enhancement of application quality and stability
- Demonstrated sense of ownership regarding the quality of solutions delivered
- Honest and straightforward communication to ensure optimal outcomes
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to define testing requirements and strategies
- Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive software quality
- Identify, document, and track defects, providing relevant details for resolution
- Work closely with development teams in an Agile environment to ensure timely and quality deliverables
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in test automation
- Continuously evaluate testing tools and methodologies for improved productivity
- Engage in regular discussions with technical and business stakeholders
- Mentor junior team members on testing best practices and automation techniques
- Maintain thorough documentation of test cases and results
- Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and techniques to enhance the testing process
