Requirements
Must:
- High School diploma or GED is mandatory
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science is preferred
- Prior experience as a Desktop or End User Support Engineer
- Proficient in investigating and resolving technical issues of moderate complexity, typically escalated from first-line support
- Skilled in handling elevated telephone, email, and online support requests
- Experienced in documenting, tracking, and monitoring issues using relevant systems and tools
- Understands departmental, segment, and organizational strategies and operational objectives, along with their connections to other areas
- Must have a strong passion for contributing to an organization dedicated to enhancing consumer experiences
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software packages
- Provide customer service and training for end-users
- Execute advanced administrative, operational, and customer support tasks that necessitate independent initiative and judgment
- Apply intermediate mathematical skills when necessary
- Research and resolve moderate complexity technical issues, usually escalated by first-line support teams
- Respond to elevated technical support requests via telephone, email, and online channels
- Document, track, and monitor issues through appropriate systems and tools
- Focus on methods, tactics, and processes for completing administrative tasks and projects
- Regularly use discretion and judgment to prioritize requests and interpret and modify procedures, processes, and techniques, operating with limited guidance based on previous experience and knowledge
