Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in quality engineering, with at least 5 years in Agile environments
- Proven leadership skills in managing both onshore and offshore quality engineering teams, driving initiatives independently
- Extensive experience in test automation utilizing Selenium, Cucumber, and BDD frameworks
- Practical knowledge in developing automated regression tests for both web and backend applications
- Experience in building API tests with the Karate framework
- Skilled in using code repositories and version control systems
- Strong expertise in SQL scripting
- Well-versed in Agile project management practices and DevOps tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality automated UI and API tests for web applications
- Lead quality engineering initiatives and oversee testing resources onshore and offshore
- Develop industry-standard test automation frameworks and scripts
- Conduct manual and automated testing within an Agile sprint environment
- Create, sustain, and execute test plans, regression test suites, and traceability documentation
- Provide testing estimates during discovery phases and sprint planning sessions
- Analyze test failures, update automation scripts accordingly, and verify fixes
- Reproduce production defects, log issues, and collaborate closely with developers for resolution
- Work alongside DevOps to establish quality gates and automated testing within CI/CD pipelines
- Automate repetitive browser-based and API validation tasks
- Communicate test results, metrics, and progress updates to QA managers and relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate with product teams on developing acceptance criteria and behavior-driven development (BDD) tests
