QA Automation Engineer - SEC

- Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (Quality Assurance, Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) or over 5 years of related work experience - Minimum of two years experience in testing commercial applications using an automation framework like Selenium - At least two years of programming experience in JavaScript - Solid understanding of QA principles and methodologies with the ability to address specific QA challenges - Proficient in creating quality documentation and reports - Experience assessing software applications across Windows, Macintosh, UNIX, and Linux platforms - Familiarity with bug tracking and reporting systems - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel - Knowledgeable about various web browsers such as Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome - Understanding of web technologies and frameworks including JavaScript and React - Skilled in developing scripts for testing web services (REST API or SOAP) - Familiar with Service Security protocols (HTTPS, OAuth, etc.) - Experience with Selenium WebDriver (Selenium Grid experience is advantageous) - Acquainted with Agile development and testing practices - Experienced in testing web applications - Ability to identify key and complex testing areas within the system - Competent in writing SQL queries for relational databases - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Capable of working independently on assigned tasks - Certification in Software Quality Assurance is a bonus - Familiarity with version control systems like GIT, CVS, or Subversion is a plus - Knowledge of PC networking and Network Operating Systems is beneficial - Networking training or certification is an asset - Familiarity with design patterns is a bonus
