Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience with Salesforce, particularly in Billing, Payments, and Lead to Cash sectors
- Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ, Billing, or Payments integrations
- Proven track record in architecting and implementing Salesforce billing solutions in intricate enterprise settings
- Demonstrated capability in a Product Ownership role, handling backlog, aligning roadmaps, and prioritizing stakeholder needs
- Experience collaborating with Finance, Product, Engineering, and Business teams
- In-depth understanding of billing models, payment processes, invoicing, collections, and revenue streams
- Solid knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum, SAFe, and/or Waterfall)
- Ability to convert complex business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Willingness to be onsite 5 days a week (non-negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete solution architecture for Salesforce Billing, Payments, and Lead to Cash processes
- Act as a Product Owner, converting business requirements into clearly defined product capabilities, backlogs, and timelines
- Design and manage Salesforce billing and payment architectures, including invoicing, collections, pricing, taxation, and revenue flows
- Lead solution design across the Lead, Quote, Order, Bill, Collect, and Revenue lifecycles
- Collaborate with Product, Business, and Technology teams to drive requirements, prioritization, and successful delivery
- Provide architectural governance throughout the entire SDLC (requirements gathering, design, construction, testing, deployment, and post-production support)
- Ensure that solutions comply with enterprise standards for scalability, security, performance, and integration
- Serve as the Salesforce Billing & Payments subject matter expert, providing guidance on best practices, risks, and optimization avenues
- Work closely with integration teams on APIs, downstream systems, and financial platforms
- Participate actively in solution reviews, design sessions, and on-site stakeholder workshops
Description
We are searching for a highly qualified individual with substantial expertise in Billing, Payments, and Lead to Cash to aid in a significant transformation initiative. This role presents a unique blend of Solutions Architecture, Product Ownership, and Salesforce Billing expertise, requiring both strategic design leadership and hands-on execution throughout the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will function as the architectural and functional authority for Salesforce-based billing and payment solutions, managing end-to-end design while closely collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to achieve scalable, enterprise-level results.
