Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 12-15+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration, testing, and deployment
- Proven ability to lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) across various engineering domains
- Comprehensive technical knowledge in software (embedded/full stack), RF, networking, and cybersecurity
- Strong preference for experience with tactical data links/mesh waveforms (Link 16, TTNT, Silvus, Wave Relay)
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and client-facing communication skills
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex programs within Agile frameworks
- Acts as the technical lead without direct reports, serving as the point of contact for the program
- Must pass a government security investigation and meet eligibility for access to classified information
Responsibilities
- Direct the system architecture, design, integration, testing, and deployment of tactical DoD communication systems
- Serve as the technical authority, influencing system-level decisions and conducting trade studies
- Oversee integration efforts across electrical, mechanical, software, RF, networking, and cybersecurity disciplines
- Collaborate with clients, program managers, and engineering teams to clarify requirements and deliverables
- Derive and manage system and subsystem specifications
- Develop and maintain system diagrams, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and technical documentation
- Assist in test planning, execution, and data analysis, including field and flight tests
- Support vehicle-based integrated systems that incorporate radios, waveforms, power, RF, and software
- Travel occasionally for integration and testing support
