Requirements

Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in software engineering with a primary emphasis on low-latency or high-performance systems - Demonstrated ability in developing electronic trading or algorithmic execution platforms - Advanced skills in Java and concurrent programming, with substantial experience in API and distributed systems design - Understanding of execution algorithms such as TWAP, VWAP, or similar strategies - Familiarity with Smart Order Routing (SOR), market structure, and order execution processes - Background in microservices architecture and cloud deployments, preferably in AWS

Responsibilities

- Design, architect, and develop a high-throughput, enterprise-level algorithmic trading platform - Establish the architecture and essential components of an Algo Platform, encompassing strategy orchestration, order lifecycle management, and market connectivity - Create and execute algorithms (e.g., TWAP, VWAP) focusing on performance, determinism, and scalability - Develop distributed, event-driven systems employing Java and high-performance messaging technologies - Design and enhance Smart Order Routing (SOR) logic across various trading venues - Utilize cloud technologies (AWS) to engineer scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant platform elements when necessary - Promote engineering best practices for performance enhancement, reliability, observability, and code quality - Mentor technical teams across engineering divisions
