Requirements
Must:
- Approximately 8+ years of relevant experience in data platform engineering, business intelligence, and data visualization
- Relevant certifications like Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Fabric certifications, or other analytics-related credentials
- Strong expertise in Power BI administration and Fabric tools
- Hands-on experience in creating Power BI reports and dashboards, along with DAX calculations and data modeling
- Several years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or IT system administration
- In-depth knowledge of best practices for Power BI related to security, performance, and governance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models in accordance with industry standards
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Power BI dashboard development, ETL processes, and data modeling
- Manage and oversee the Power BI platform, including user access, security configurations, and system integrations
- Install, configure, and maintain on-premises data gateways to facilitate secure data transfer
- Implement and manage virtual networks (VNets) for Power BI to enhance connectivity and security
- Conduct routine system maintenance, including reboots and updates, to ensure reliability of the Power BI environment
- Utilize Microsoft Fabric features to manage data flows, pipelines, and collaborative workspaces to improve analytics processes
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements
