Requirements

Must:
- Associate or Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline - At least 5 years of professional experience with schematics capture and/or PCB design - Proficient in ECAD software tools such as Cadence Allegro and/or OrCAD - Background in high circuit density and complex multi-layer (6+ layers) circuit boards using blind and/or buried vias - Ability to grasp key requirements in RF applications - In-depth knowledge of design for manufacturability standards related to PCB fabrication and assembly for cost-effectiveness and high yield - Strong capability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines - Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities - Experience with digital and analog design layout techniques - Familiarity with impedance control, RF shielding, and transmission line theory - Solid understanding of PCB fabrication process, testing, and assembly standards - Experience routing DDR4 - Knowledge of Valor reporting tools - Meticulous attention to detail and precision

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, modify, and assess electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and related hardware systems - Define design methodologies and parameters - Analyze equipment to generate operational data, conduct experiments, and assess outcomes - Select components and equipment based on detailed analysis of specifications and reliability - Review vendor capabilities to support product development as needed - Create and produce engineering documentation using OrCAD and Allegro (schematics and PCB layout) - Route mixed-signal circuit board designs, including various RF blocks or systems (up to 12GHz) - Review BOM for availability of parts - Collaborate primarily in small teams under the guidance of engineering - Develop new components as required and maintain the components library - Complete other related tasks as assigned
